A workshop where you can craft yourself a stunning felted ‘sheepskin’ rug or ‘living rug’ by felting the underside of a fleece
We will be using these gorgeous Icelandic x Shetland fleeces, absolutely beautiful with long haired wool.
The fleeces are from a registered organic, pasture for life regenerative farm that has values of increasing biodiversity on their land through their farming practices.
They are a deeply inspiring farm and it feels important to support them by using their fleeces.
Tea and snacks will be included
There will also be herbal teas and some snacks. (Chocolate, crisps and nairns biscuits)
The workshop will require some physical effort, with some bending over and some kneeling. Please be prepared to give the rug some elbow grease to make it felt up.
10am start the workshop (please arrive 15 - 10mins early to settle in)
1pm lunch bring a packed lunch!
2-5pm finish the rug!
The location will be a lovely yurt on some land ny Littlehemston
