A workshop where you can craft yourself a stunning felted ‘sheepskin’ rug or ‘living rug’ by felting the underside of a fleece
We will be using these gorgeous Icelandic x Shetland fleeces, absolutely beautiful with long haired wool.
The fleeces are from a registered organic, pasture for life regenerative farm that has values of increasing biodiversity on their land through their farming practices.
They are a deeply inspiring farm and it feels important to support them by using their fleeces.
Lunch will be included. Please message with any dietary requirements.
The workshop will require some physical effort, with some bending over and some kneeling. Please be prepared to give the rug some elbow grease to make it felt up.
10am start the workshop (please arrive 15 - 10mins early to settle in)
1pm lunch (lunch is included. It will be soup and salad, all local and organic produce)
2-5pm finish the rug!
