This felt vest is handcrafted from British regeneratieely farmed lambswool, pasture fed.
It has needle felted embellishments of Celtic inspired Hawthorn branches, leaves and flowers.
The buttons are handmade from an old hawthorn tree living on Dartmoor.
Hawthorn is known as Huathe in the ancient tree Ogham.
Tree of heart, magic, fertility and fairy lore.
Closely associated with Beltain, the fire festival of Spring, fertility and the union of the Green Man and Green Lady. Hawthorn has also long been associated with fairies in folklore traditions and knowledge.
Know in herbal medicine as a tree that is deeply healing for the heart in many ways, hawthorn also brings tender healing to matters of love and self love.
